  New group member

  We are very excited to announce that Romana Pop has joined the lab as a PhD student. Romana is joining us from the University of Essex, where she did her Master's thesis in the group of Radu Zabet. Her PhD thesis will be focused on genomic data integration in gene regulatory networks.

  News item on our Pink Ribbon funding

  The group recently received funding for a three year project from the Pink Ribbon campaign through Norwegian Cancer Society. Six projects were funded in total, and were interviewed (article in Norwegian).

  Presentation at the Nordic EMBL Partnership meeting

  Marieke will be presenting an overview of the group's work at the 10th annual meeting of the Nordic EMBL Partnership. Annikka, Ping-Han, and Tatiana will be presenting posters. The conference is a virtual event on September 22-25.

  New group member

  We are very excited to announce that Giulia Schito has joined the lab to work on her Master's thesis. Giulia is a Master's student in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at the University of Milan and will be working on modeling gene regulatory networks in breast cancer.

  Pink Ribbon Funding

  The Kuijjer group has received funding from Pink Ribbon / the Norwegian Cancer Society to develop computational tools that integrate large-scale genome-wide regulatory networks with other `omics and clinical data, to help the discovery of new breast cancer subtypes and potential targets for personalized treatment of breast cancer.
