  New group member

  We are very excited to announce that Atefeh Ghahremanloo has joined Kuijjer group at NCMBM as visiting PhD student. Atefeh has a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Mashad University of Medical Sciences, where she is currently pursuing her PhD degree, also in Biochemistry. Atefeh will be staying with us on a 6-month internship, working with Paris to setup wet-lab validation of computational findings in breast cancer. Welcome Atefeh!...

  New group members

  We are excited to welcome Ceren Pajanoja, who started her postdoctoral fellowship in the Helsinki group in September. Ceren obtained her PhD (2025) from the University of Helsinki, where she worked in Laura Kerosuo's group on transcriptional regulation in developmental biology. Ceren will be working on pan-cancer regulatory subtype detection with hierarchical VAE models. We are also happy to announce that Romana Pop has started a new position...
