New group members
We are excited to welcome two new group members: Yanping Zeng and Arturo Kenzuke Nakamura García, who started at our Helsinki node in August and September 2026, respectively.
- Yanping is PhD student from Central South University in China. She is joining us for a full year with Chinese Government Scholarship funding to develop tools for multi-omics gene regulatory network modeling in single-cell data.
- Arturo is a postdoctoral fellow, who recently defended his PhD, for which he conducted research in the group of our collaborator Jesús Espinal-Enríquez. Arturo previously stayed with us in Oslo for a research visit in the fall of 2023, and we are happy to have him back! He will be working on multi-modal integration of cell-type specific networks in ovarian cancer.
