Consortium funding
We are happy to announce that the Kuijjer group has received Research Council of Finland consortium funding. The funding supports the SUBSISTER Consortium, which is formed by the groups Anniina Färkkilä, Anna Vähärautio, and Mariike Kuijjer.
- Starting in September 2026, the Consortium will head the "Precision elimination of subsister cells in ovarian cancer" project, a four-year project in which we will use multi-modal single-cell and spatial data, as well as functional profiling, to characterize and target cancer cells that subsist chemotherapy, with the aim to find more effective treatments for ovarian cancer.
