Three PhD defenses
February is PhD thesis defense month, with three defenses from group members.
- On Friday February 6, Samantha successfully defended her thesis at the University of Helsinki, and the group attended their first karonkka together at Southpark Ravintola. Former co-supervised PhD student Debora successfully defended her thesis on February 10 at Leiden University Medical Center, where we participated online. Finally, on February 20, co-supervised student Saikat will be defending his thesis at the Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø. Congratulations to Sam and Debora, and all the best with the last preparations for the defense Saikat!
